Can't believe it's been over two years since I posted! My beautiful daughters are now 5 and 4 years old! Still working for the same accounting firm....bless their hearts for keeping me around!
We had a wonderful Christmas party for my Grandparents, their kids, grandkids and great-grandkids this past weekend! All of the great-grandkids got to open gifts from each family. It was a really great day! The theme for the party this year was "Happy Birthday, Jesus!!" After all....isn't that what Christmas is really all about??
Today the girl's Grammie came to visit us. We all played outside for a while, and then the wind started to blow. After she went on to work, me and the girls went to lunch and visited with a couple of good friends and had a great time!
Today, we met my grandparents at the NMMI track and walked 1 1/2 miles. The girls rode in the stroller, and also walked along with us. We picked dandelions, did some chin-ups on the side of the track, and had a few races together. It was a beautiful morning...just the right temperature for a nice walk!
I am a full-time mommy of two precious daughters, and a part time CPA working from home. I find it difficult at times to balance work and family. The thing I miss the most about my schedule is being able to spend time in God's Word, and in group Bible studies. My little gifts from God are still so young that they consume all of my daytime, and part of my nighttime.
My husband works for a large farm and works primarily with Pecan trees and hay. He grew up in Roswell and has many close friends and family near and dear to him.
I grew up on a small ranch near Kenna, New Mexico. My parents still reside there. They are wonderful parents, and did a great job at instilling Godly values in my life. They work hard and love me and my younger brother very, very much. I am so thankful for my parents.
My precious grandparents also live very close to me. I consider my grandmother one of my best friends and mentor. My grandparents love us all so much, and I am fortunate to be able to spend so much time with them.
I have one brother, a sister-in-law, and a precious nephew who are are wonderous gifts from the Lord.
I am blessed beyond measure with a wonderful family and many friends.
